lie detector lies all the time…
May 10th, 2012 by lawsuit

Imagine for a moment that your accused of a crime and you did not do it, but suddenly someone suggests that if you really have nothing to hide you take a lie detector test.

There are a lot of good reasons why you should not take one and yes that means even if your innocent of the accusation of a crime.

The number one reason why is that it lies, the lie detector lies.

Sounds a little crazy right, how can a lie detector that is allegedly designed to tell is someone is lying be the base of the lie.

The reason why is simple it is not accurate, because it depends on a subjective analysis by a human operator.

Humans make mistakes, they sometimes even lie about what they are doing.

But even if a lie detector test were a valid and effective method of detecting a lie it is not admissible in court.

So if you ever find yourself in a situation where someone asks you to take a lie detector test, ask them one question, will the results of this testing eliminate me as a suspect and or arrest warrant?

If they lie, then you know that you need a lawyer right away.

If they tell the truth they will have to say that no, no matter what the test reveals it will not change anything about what we think we know about you.

You see what that says?

What that says is that it does not matter, if they think your guilty of a crime, they can have anyone come in and say that you failed or that you were not consistently honest.

But if they are honest and they say that your also honest the police will just say that a lie detector test is not conclusive and they will continue to waste your time and violate your rights, (allegedly)

The funny thing about a Lie Detector test is that its totally subjective, there are no scientific facts to support a lie detector, sorry but it just dont work.

It never has and it never will because it is subjective, the operator obtains his fee or his or her payment from law enforcement sources, which means they are not objective.

Until technology improves or we see some kind of real evidence that technology is capable of proving and sustaining honesty or dishonesty then sadly its just a waste of time and money.

The way that the Justice system is today it really leaves with just one choice, Never Ever Talk to them, because they will lie to you while they are telling you that when you lie to them they will get mad and angry.  But they have no problem lying to you, what kind of Good guy does that?

Just remember that most of the time, they have more experience in putting you in jail than you have of getting out of jail.

Ask for a lawyer…

It really is that simple…

dance moms bad for Girls
Apr 18th, 2012 by lawsuit

Imagine, you have a show where an older overweight, female with an alleged attitude problem, who also allegedly appears as if she has some very serious personality disorders.

It may be a part of the show and that would not be the first time that something like that happened in real life.

But imagine the stress on the girls that are depicted on this show, (personally this is a horror show) and professionally I suspect that these kids are going to be messed up psychologically for years to come.  One thing that I find to be really amazing is that parents would allow their children to participate in such an insane situation, because believe it or not, you can get the best dance training in the world and you will find that being psychopathic is not part of the experience.

Screaming, Yelling, crying, is not the way that professionals, act and that is not the way professionals train people.

Warning the following video is sick and you may be offended.

Price Fixing Apple and Amazon?
Apr 11th, 2012 by lawsuit

Say it Aint So…

In a Big News story, one that many people see as the first of many many more to come, prices of Digital Google may soon be subject to litigation and the DOJ, which some feel has a priority issue.

Attempting to fast and furiously move attention away from the Eric Holder Scandal, (allegedly)

Many are wondering about what is the real Agenda at the DOJ, but perhaps for once this is something that many feel is a good action.

Is this just something that the DOJ wants to do or is this a real issue?

I think that it is a real issue for a number of reasons, one of the most important ones is that the itunes store excludes many many developers and small business owners, who do not get the same opportunities to produce and compete in the itunes store.

Above and beyond that issue is the price fixing issue, not only are many great apps rejected for no real reason, but some allege that some of the start up apps are rejected to allegedly fix the prices of other apps, this is in line with the idea that manipulative marketing is something that apple might indeed need to examine, as well as its draconian, methods of dealing with the problems that many have with the itunes concept in general.

So, perhaps we can see if Apple fixes its problems or if they do not fix the problem…

trademark infringment
Feb 27th, 2012 by lawsuit

Will you be able to publish content on the internet in the future?

The idea of copyright and trademark infringement of logos software and other things online is something that you might expect by now with all the law suits that large websites might take action to prevent the intentional sale of copyrighted material online.

The thing is they often times do not care.

In a recent email conversation, when informed that they were participating in the sale of infringing items they said they did not care.

I find that amazing, which is why we see so many attempts at passing new laws designed to stop or assign criminal behavior to these issues.

We may not all agree about patents, and trademarks and infringement of copyrighted materials, however, if we do not act in a collective way to reduce the abuse then we will end up with laws that are so severe that they do more harm than good.

Hands off our internet
Jan 25th, 2012 by lawsuit

The Internet does not belong to any one person or group of persons, it is a combination of resources, servers, computers, websites, search engines, commerce companies, and much more, the thing is that so many people seem to want to Tax, it or control it, or figure out how they can decide who should be able to have a website or not.

That seems like a really stupid idea.

Yet that is what the Music industry and the Motion Picture industry are trying to do.

So, what do they think?

That the internet will remain the same if they bribe congress to look the other way while they rape the internet in the name of commerce?

Is that what they really think?

I hope not because there are hundreds of thousands of websites like this one that would retire, disappear, go away, or go dark, simply because we are not going to pay for servers or pay for content or pay for videos or pay for anything that we do not have the freedom to control.

Simply said, we do not have to provide these websites, we do not have to provide content, we can take our websites and go home.

Sounds a little crazy, but that is what will happen, for 40 years, Holly wood and the broadcast media had a captive audience, they abused us with their ignorant programming, anyone remember the gong show, (think its gone away yet) try no.

The simply and drastic truth is that if holly wood has their way you will have to all watch re-runs for the rest of your life, imagine having to watch the Brady bunch for 12 hours a day…

Sure its funny for about a half hour, but after that, )

Seriously consider supporting an effort to vote out of office anyone that supports SOPA or PIPA any Senator, any Congressman…

SOPA lies and internet regulation
Dec 26th, 2011 by lawsuit

When you think about SOPA you first think hey lets stop all these pirates online right but in reality it will not stop anything at all what it will do is allow corporations to shift the burden of proof from the plaintiff to a defendant, and it will create more problems for an already over burdened, legal system.

The truth is that we cannot afford this kind of stupidity in congress and this is the number one reason why you should vote these crooks in congress out of office.

learn more about what you should avoid in legal bills in congress.

Sign the petition to stop this attempt at massive corporations to ruin the internet for everyone.

Sopa is a lie from the pits of hell…

It is Evil and must be removed in all its forms.

We cannot allow congress to pretend to pass laws that are in the interest of corporations but pretend to be in the interest of the people.

We know its a lie, they know its a lie, they are sorry, but not for the right reasons, they are sorry that they got caught not giving a damn.

Italy not safe for Americans?
Nov 11th, 2011 by lawsuit

Is it true, might you find yourself accused of a crime you did not commit and serving time in jail just because your an American?

is it fair, to say that Italy is not friendly to American Tourists?

Perhaps it is fair to say that because allegedly, if the state department cannot protect Americans then perhaps they should issue a traveler warning to avoid traveling to Italy because you might find your self a victim of a corrupt legal system.

It is really a problem and in fact they are even trying to find a way to file charges again and again, pursuing this young woman of whom she would be the third person to be convicted of murder of the same one woman.

It is bad, but the problem, is still there, Italy may no longer be a place where Americans want to travel to.

Beware, of Italy…

Union Thugs? or Jobs that we need?
Sep 6th, 2011 by lawsuit

It would seem to be that there are some that might find a job would be a good thing, however that may not be the truth for everyone, the end result may be something that has to be settled in court, but why is that?

When Jobs are at risk? What can we do about it?

Received in an email may not represent the opinion of the owners or administrators, of this website.

The National Labor Relations Board just destroyed thousands of ballots.

I wish this was unexpected, but with the out-of-control Obama Labor Board, it’s exactly as we’ve feared and predicted.

As you know, the NLRB is bulldozing its way through workers’ rights and the Board’s own precedents to hand Big Labor as many new special privileges as it can before the 2012 elections.

– Plotting to eliminate thousands of Boeing jobs in Right to Work South Carolina.

– Proposing a scheme to ambush workers with union certification elections.

– Forcing its way into every workplace in the country with biased notices that serve as a roadmap to coerced unionization.
The Obama Labor Board is on a war path against worker freedom. And the hits just keep on coming.

Last week, three former union lawyers on the National Labor Relations Board voted to overturn the Board’s pivotal 2007 ruling in Dana Corp.

The Foundation-won Dana case was one of the most important victories for workers’ rights at the Board in recent years, securing for employees the right to challenge union card check organizing campaigns with a secret ballot vote.

Workers often sign so-called “union authorization cards” due to union organizers’ intimidating tactics or even outright lies about what signing a card means.

In fact, many workers across the country — like the Dana Corp. workers from Albion, Indiana in this video — have used Dana elections to kick out unwanted unions, demonstrating the unreliability of card check instant organizing.

But now thousands of workers who cast secret ballots in similar elections won’t even have their votes counted. The NLRB is actually destroying the votes!

Big Labor’s Card Check Forced Unionism Bill stalled in Congress due to widespread opposition from the American public to eliminating the secret ballot — and incumbents who supported card check faced the wrath of the voters in the 2010 midterm elections.

So instead the union bosses turned to the NLRB — where Barack Obama conveniently installed former union lawyers.

Most notably, Obama installed former SEIU and AFL-CIO union lawyer Craig Becker as a recess appointee to the Board.

Becker infamously called the secret ballot “profoundly undemocratic” and in his time on the Board has repeatedly demonstrated his blatant pro-forced unionism bias and disregard for ethics.

In fact, Becker refused to recuse himself from the decision to overturn Dana even though he co-authored a brief for the AFL-CIO in the original case!

Overturning Dana on its own would be bad enough, but what makes it even more troubling is how it goes hand-in-hand with the Board’s other recent power grabs.

Take the proposed ambush elections rules, for instance.

If the rules are implemented, union operatives will be able to ambush workers with quick-snap elections just days after union organizers turn in “union authorization cards” from a mere 30 percent of the workforce.

And to make it even easier for union operatives to steamroll their way into workplaces, the Board would also force companies to hand over to union organizers the name, address, phone number, email address, and shift schedule of each employee, exposing workers to “home visits” and other intimidation tactics.

But if union bosses get wind of the possibility that they could lose the election by secret ballot, the new rules would allow them to withdraw their petition but save the personal contact information of each worker for a full-scale card check campaign at a later date.

By overturning Dana, the Obama Labor Board just eliminated the one protection remaining for workers against abusive card check campaigns.

In fact, the NLRB is making card check an even more powerful weapon against workers and job providers alike.

That’s why the National Right to Work Foundation will continue fighting back.

We’ve already blasted the decision to overturn Dana in the press, and Foundation attorneys are working on new legal challenges to card check forced unionism.

Your generous tax-deductible contributions make our legal aid and media outreach programs possible.

Card check isn’t dead yet. And the Obama Labor Board’s all-out assault on individual workers isn’t over either.

That’s why we must remain vigilant.

Sincerely,

Mark Mix

P.S. The Foundation relies completely on voluntary contributions from its supporters to provide free legal aid.

If you can, please chip in with a tax-deductible contribution of $10 or more today to support the Foundation’s programs.

Truth in Advertising
Aug 4th, 2011 by lawsuit

When can we expect the existing laws for fast food franchises to be enforced at all?

My fellow advertisers, and webmasters, let me say that the time for truth in advertising is about to show up and for some in a really ugly way.

Yes, for years, we have had to endure the pictures of 2 foot hamburgers, (literally) that is just how big they are, and they are made from silicone, and other very unnatural ingredients. The days of showing hamburgers that look good to eat but are really not eatable as all are about to come to a screeching halt.

As you may be aware the FTC recently outlines its revisions, concerning guides to advertising, for the most part concerning endorsement and testimony, but there were a few other areas that seem to have received some attention.

The main thing is that it appears that at long last, since having these rules, laws, or what ever you want to call them that perhaps finally we the consumers, will actually see some of these companies that have been breaking, bending, folding and mutilating, these rules for so many years, actually have to stop deceptive advertising practices, perhaps an unintended consequence to some revisions in the FTC guides.

Would it not be ever so cool if they actually enforced the laws that we have now?

It is amazing how years and years ago they passed, these laws, yet, it just seems to go un enforced.

the Weiner Rant?
Jun 9th, 2011 by lawsuit

Where do we draw the line between what is considered socially acceptable and what is considered in poor taste and when does it become a matter for criminal prosecution?

When emotional issues or perhaps allegedly even bipolar issues keep a man from doing his or her job should they not get some help, this kind of thing is just not what the people expect from its leadership.

When you look at this kind of behavior, you have to wonder about the kind of alleged, idiots, that are getting elected.
