Now this is an unbelievable, story, where a man died for $5 bucks in a tip jar.
A Missouri family is allegedly suing Starbucks after a man was killed while trying to prevent a tip jar robbery by a teen.
This is a sad story and while we understand how the family feels like starbucks could have avoided this issue in the first place, it is just seems to be like an upside down world where anything can happen.
The thing that sort of stands out here is that why would a customer feel the need to defend the theft of a tip jar, when the employees, did not feel the need to defend a few dollars in a tip jar?
The end result will likely be a settlement, because it will cost more to defend a lawsuit like this than it would be worth to settle it, but does that make it right?
Perhaps not, the thing here is what would a reasonable person do in the same situation?
If the answer to that question is nothing, then likely those people have no real case at all.
And I think that if they can forgive the guy who allegedly killed the man and cry in the parking lot, then certainly they should be able to forgive starbucks.
