Criminal Defense Attorney
August 4th, 2010 by lawsuit

Did you know that taking a public defense attorney usually and allegedly results in twice the amount of time in jail as other citizens.

Is this right? No its not, but you know the old saying, if the glove does not fit, …

Statistics reveal that if the current trends prevail, there will be more people in jail on drug related charges than the system can hold…

This is scary, because jail is not the place for these people.

Have you been a victim of the war on the people? Hint they used to call it the war on drugs.

This is the way things are these days, regular people are not a threat to the police, so why do the police target regular people?

Simple, it is easy to do, most regular joes, and janes, dont have guns, so they are easy to arrest and the cops dont have to worry about say as much as if they were a dealer, which are dangerous people.

So, what does that say about the police?

You know it used to be called the war on Drugs, but not anymore, they found out that they can put regular people in jail much easier, because we dont carry guns, we dont really go around breaking the law, but go to just about any street corner, and you will find someone selling, and they have guns, but do they make war on those people, NO,

Its you that ends up in jail, its you that has to pay a fine, its you that is the bad guy and you know what that is, because you cant fight back, well if you find your self in this prohibition era, where it has become the law to put people in jail rather than drug dealers, get a lawyer, don’t say a word, not one single word.

This is for entertainment purposes, and is not meant as advice, but get a lawyer.

Learning more about the law can help you…

Criminal Defense Attorney

Choosing an Attorney is perhaps one of the most important things you will do, if not the most important thing, it can make the difference between living in your own apartment and living in a 8 X 5 cell
Make sure that you know that the lawyer you choose is the one that will do the best job for you.

Choosing the wrong one can result in you loosing your freedom know that you have chosen the best attorney to fit your needs.

Most of the time when people hear the words “Lawyer” or “Attorney” this is the type that first comes to mind. This area of legality with all of the glitz and glamour is not recognized enough for its importance. Criminal Defense Attorney’s have one of the more difficult jobs as they represent people who have been accused of a crime. These attorneys work to assure the accused gets a fair and just trial. It is the attorneys job to also organize and create a defense or arguement which can be used to defend the client against the charges brought upon them. Criminal defense attorneys have to mount a defense which gurantee’s justice is served for his or her client by any legal means necessary , no matter the evidence presented to prove the opposite.

The job of the criminal defense attorney is extremely difficult as the prosecution has spent alot of time and money to prove the case against the defendent. Usually charges are only brought against a defendent when the prosecution feels it has enough evidence to bring a case which will result in a conviction. The legal system may seem to be somewhat tipped to the side of the defendant but this still leaves an extremely difficult task of proving the defendant to be innocent. Criminal defense lawyers have to be very qualified as the guidelines in this area of the law are very complex and strict. He must also work using an odd approach as he is not allowed to ask a defendant about guilt or innocence. A criminal defence attorney is also not permitted by law to put anyone on the stand to testify if he has knowledge that he or she may be lying.

Criminal defense attorney’s must also have alot of experience in body language and theatric’s. It is always important for a qualified attorney to put on a competent and credible show for the jury on behalf of his client. With so many varying aspects to a criminal case criminal defense attorneys have to put in tons of time and work into each and every case , knowing that this is often the last chance for the person he or she is defending.

Criminal Attorney’s defend clients with both misdemeanor and felony charges. Not every criminal case requires a trial and jury. The law classifies a crime as either a misdemeanor or a felony , with a felony being a much more serious charge. A felony is generally punished by a prison sentence or more than one year while a misdemeanor carries a jail term of less than one year and more often then not a fine. Someone convicted of a felony usually results in losing such rights as the right to vote and various other civil rights.

Quite often your criminal defense attorney can reach a ‘ plea ‘ agreement with the prosecution before the trial date arrives.

Be very careful here, make sure this is in your best interest and not just to save the lawyer some time.

When a plea agreement is reached , in most states , the defendant simply appears in court and allocutes or recites the facts and aspects of the crime. Then the judge will rule and pass down a negotiated sentence agreed upon by both sides in the plea deal. A qualified criminal defense attorney can be priceless in this spot as plea deals are usually reached with the defendant getting charged with a lesser crime and accepting pre determined terms to speed up the court process.

Criminal rules of procedure and laws often vary from one jurisdiction to another , this can be very confusing and makes a criminal defense attorney a must. He can best prepare you for the process of the jurisdiction where you are charged and can help to avoid any serious mistakes. It is the right of every citizen to recieve the best possible ciminal defense so be sure to check with your criminal defense attorney and he will answer all of your questions and get you prepared for your court proceedings.
