Abuse of authority, but was it a two way street
Apr 14th, 2010 by lawsuit

Warning, this video is disturbing, and it may cause you to feel badly about the tax dollars going to support local police departments, but really just because you have one bad dude does not mean that they are all bad, in fact most of them are really good folks trying to do a hard job…

Police lawyers

Police need better training… there is no doubt about that…

So what is up with these people…

Why do they do this kind of stuff, do they need help, it is a really hard job to do, in fact stats reveal that 85 percent of most people can not do the job that most police do, in fact that means that fewer than 20 percent of the population is relied upon to protect the rest of us…

but this guy should never have been behind a badge…

Protesters Beat and mauled by police?
Sep 28th, 2009 by lawsuit

Are they getting out of hand with trying to keep the peace?

or are they just doing their jobs?

Holy Banshee, what is the deal with this stuff.

Some wonder, if that is something that can be done or if it is something that has to be done.

Police should do everything to resolve a situation before force is needed, it is a hard job and  for the most part most people can not do this job, yet it is a job that is so political that many police officers are finding it almost impossible to do in the right way.

It is truly a catch 22 situation, if you do or if you dont you still have the same problems.

Police see the very worst of humanity on a daily basis, every day every month every year, they see the worst of us, often they do not have friends outside the police community, very often they do not even trust anyone outside the community.

In some cases they do not even trust many that are in the community, this creates a real problem for these lets say it, heros, because you have to be one to do this job for long.

So, is there not something that can be done to help these people because they are human too but they have to deal with the worst of what it means to be human, so as a consequence of that inconvenient truth, they very often react first then think later because that could be the difference between life and death, this kind of situation leads to danger for the public, more so if the officer is tired.

So again, what can be done, and what should be done, in the last few weeks, stats came out that suggest that there is an increase in officer suicide, even more problematic is that in some cases, assisted suicide could be taking place and that is something that needs to be handled.

However the problem is that for most officers, visiting a shrink goes on your record and that is also something you do not want, which leads to more officers needing some form of help, even if it is just someone to talk to without fear of that private conversation going public.

Which leads you back to the catch 22 situation all over again.

One thing remains clear, these men and women need not only help but they need understanding, because without them we are all in trouble.

Man Jailed for rolaids?
Aug 25th, 2009 by lawsuit

Go figure once again we see a lack of respect for the law in florida.

This is crazy, in floriduh, go figure, but here is one situation where a man who was accused of possession of rolaids spent three months in jail, what a mess and there is something really crazy about floridah law enforcement.

One thing for sure you may want to re-consider your vacation to floriduh if they don’t get a hold of these problem prosecutors and law enforcement officers.

Anyone talking to this guy would know that he is not a drug user, yet, the justice system completely broke down in this instance, I just cant believe that no one was able to take a common sense look at this situation and understand that this guy was not a drug user.

Police have a hard job but come on folks this is getting out of hand, tourism in floriduh is going to suffer if t his kind of stupid stuff is not nipped in the bud, so to speak, This guy was obviously not a drug user and even if the police man made a mistake the ADA should have seen that this guy was not a user.

I know one thing there are thousands of people out there using rolaids and if police cant tell the difference then people and tourists in Florida are in for a rough ride.

So now what will happen next, well the state of Florida will pay a settlement and it will not be cheap, and that money will be tax dollars, People if this happens to you get a good lawyer, if this guy had a good lawyer to begin with none of this would have happened.

It is good to see that this guy now has a good lawyer.

If this ever happens to you, get a lawyer, for Gods sake, do not sit in jail over a bad lawyer.

This is some crazy stuff.

Taking it too far? Burger King goes nuts?
Aug 7th, 2009 by lawsuit

Burger king, allegedly kicks out baby for not having shoes even though the baby could not yet walk and was not old enough for shoes.

Is burger king just stupid or what.

We thought you could have it your way at burger king apparently not anymore.

In a news story today it was reported that a burger king location allegedly, told a woman to leave the location or they would call the police.

We have to wonder about these types of issues, so watch out, you might have a problem with the king.

We all know good help is hard to find and food service is a hard job, thankless for the most part, as well you usually end up having to work more than 60 hours per week, with little or no rest, so yes I suppose it might be difficult at times to make sound decisions.

However, you would have to wonder why, someone would go after a baby, that seems a little harsh for sure.

It sounds like there may have been a back story here, perhaps the story was more about the woman than the man or was it a woman?

No one knows for sure, but one thing is clear, they need to let those burger king managers get some more sleep.

Police out of control? or just loosing patience?
Jul 28th, 2009 by lawsuit

What is going on with the police these days, are they not being trained?  We know they have a hard job to do.

Or is it that they have a really though job and they just do not know how to successfully deal with this type of stress on the job?

We have to ask because of the recent “Stupidly” comments by our president is in my opinion right on.

It is stupid, to arrest a man in his own property… Even if he is upset and giving some feedback…

Why because you could just walk away!   Yes, amazing I know but yes, when the police are on private property they can just walk away and find another situation that is much more deserving of their hard work and time.

If the police showed up on your door step and starting treating you like a criminal, how would you react?

There is much to be learned, here, no matter how you stack it up and even if they all go to the white house and sing songs and drink beer, the police should have handled it differently why?

Because in recent years the police have been over steeping their authority in ways that are very disturbing, in ways that violate the constitution of the united states, but we looked the other way because of 911 and that was perhaps a good thing, however, now there are a lot of these so called big cases where, it has become easier to arrest a person for buying drugs than it is to arrest the drug dealer, we find that disturbing and we look to the white house for a solution to this problem.

So after all that we have learned, I have to agree, yes,

It is stupid to allow the situation to get so far out of control, when it could have been avoided by just a little diplomacy…

The problem here is that for some reason the police have come to believe that they can do anything and get away with it.

It sometimes looks like we are in a police state and if that is happening it needs to stop…

WE are not a police state and the police need to be reminded that people run the government not the police.
