Imagine for a moment that your accused of a crime and you did not do it, but suddenly someone suggests that if you really have nothing to hide you take a lie detector test.

There are a lot of good reasons why you should not take one and yes that means even if your innocent of the accusation of a crime.

The number one reason why is that it lies, the lie detector lies.

Sounds a little crazy right, how can a lie detector that is allegedly designed to tell is someone is lying be the base of the lie.

The reason why is simple it is not accurate, because it depends on a subjective analysis by a human operator.

Humans make mistakes, they sometimes even lie about what they are doing.

But even if a lie detector test were a valid and effective method of detecting a lie it is not admissible in court.

So if you ever find yourself in a situation where someone asks you to take a lie detector test, ask them one question, will the results of this testing eliminate me as a suspect and or arrest warrant?

If they lie, then you know that you need a lawyer right away.

If they tell the truth they will have to say that no, no matter what the test reveals it will not change anything about what we think we know about you.

You see what that says?

What that says is that it does not matter, if they think your guilty of a crime, they can have anyone come in and say that you failed or that you were not consistently honest.

But if they are honest and they say that your also honest the police will just say that a lie detector test is not conclusive and they will continue to waste your time and violate your rights, (allegedly)

The funny thing about a Lie Detector test is that its totally subjective, there are no scientific facts to support a lie detector, sorry but it just dont work.

It never has and it never will because it is subjective, the operator obtains his fee or his or her payment from law enforcement sources, which means they are not objective.

Until technology improves or we see some kind of real evidence that technology is capable of proving and sustaining honesty or dishonesty then sadly its just a waste of time and money.

The way that the Justice system is today it really leaves with just one choice, Never Ever Talk to them, because they will lie to you while they are telling you that when you lie to them they will get mad and angry. But they have no problem lying to you, what kind of Good guy does that?

Just remember that most of the time, they have more experience in putting you in jail than you have of getting out of jail.

Ask for a lawyer…

It really is that simple…

Somewhere in the US right now, a life has been changed forever because of a car accident…

If you live in a large city chances are that you have seen at least two or even three car accidents every week, sometimes more.

car accident settlement, car accident claims are the leading small claims in America today.

The thing is that eventually you might be the one that is being loaded up in an ambulance staring at the ceiling and wondering if life will ever get back to normal…

These days people are texting, talking on the phone, doing everything but actually driving and paying attention to what they are doing.

The problem is that on average one accident occurs every few seconds in the US and for the most part people just go on not even realizing that they are hurt and should be in a hospital.

Don’t let this happen to you…

If you are involved in an accident do you think that you would know the number of a lawyer?

If you are seriously hurt you might not even be able to remember your name…

Who will act on your behalf if you are in no condition to help yourself?

A good Car accident Lawyer that is who, but if you dont know anyone or any phone number then how can you get help when you need it most?

You develop a working relationship with a good legal adviser…

Was Amanda Knox a victim of a weak state department?

The truth may be something very near to that, had she been a citizen would she even be in jail at all?
That is what seems to be of interest here because in many other cases where a Murder was confessed to by someone else the others that were not directly involved, received less time than Amanda Knox has already served, (allegedly)

So the fact remains, did Amanda Knox get caught up in this trial and jail time because she is an American with a president that does not have a strong foreign policy?

You have to wonder, if it is safe to even visit Italy these days, because you might end up with a parking ticket and have to do ten years in jail…

I know one thing for sure Italy is not American Friendly, at least not in this trial…

So one thing for sure if you must visit Italy make sure you have a lawyer on retainer.

Are we loosing our rights or are we failing to stand up and vote?

Homeschooling Laws – What You Should Know before you make decisions about your child’s education.

Your legal situation as a home schooler depends largely on what state you live in and how state and local officials enforce the laws concerning compulsory attendance, private education, and homeschooling. Whether they require registration, a notice of intent, regular evaluation, or advance approval, the statutes take in your state can be less important than how they are enforced.

To keep your homeschooling legal worries to the minimal level they deserve, here are some things which you should bear in mind:

1. Know what your state’s law says. Read the applicable statutes for yourself, talk to other homeschoolers, and join a state homeschooling organization that monitors the regulations affecting homeschoolers.

2. Learn what potential problems for homeschoolers exist in your state. Learn how other homeschoolers have dealt with them successfully, and plan how you’d respond if faced with them yourself. Don’t wait until after the fact to learn what your options could have been.

3. Do not automatically assume that any explanation of home-schooling legal issues you hear or read is correct. Whether the opinion is that of a school official, a lawyer for a home-school legal defense organization, a legislator, or another homeschooler, you need to check it out for yourself. Laws concerning homeschooling are usually complex; clear and definitive statements on legal issues usually leave out something important.

4. Do not let worry about legal issues distract you from the everyday business of homeschooling. When homeschoolers object to rules that require them to document their children’s learning or to have their kids tested on a regular basis, it’s because such requirements often interfere with that learning. If you are changing your whole approach to homeschooling because of your state’s legal requirements, you are probably worrying way too much about the law.

5. Do not be shy about your homeschooling. You don’t have to announce it to everyone you meet, but visible home-schoolers help make homeschooling familiar and acceptable to the general public. With enough of us around, the, public may eventually understand that homeschooling can be fun and exciting, as well as effective, and we’ll find we
have active support even from families who would never home school themselves.

Is prepaid right for you and will it actually save you any money at all?

the answer is perhaps not, when dealing with a legal issue it is often better to have an attorney on retainer.

That way is you have an issue that comes up you can often just make a quick phone call and get it fixed up right away.
being able to do that is a great feeling.

A prepaid legal plan is a scheme based on the payment in advance of a set
fee to defray the cost of providing future legal services to the members
enrolled in the scheme. They vary in cost, scope of legal coverage provided
and how the legal services are provided. We will look at the different
types of pre-paid legal plans available in the United States and how to
enroll into them

An individual pre-paid legal plan is readily accessible to the general
public. There are two types of individual plans: access and comprehensive.
An access pre-paid legal plan is the most basic plan. It is designed to
give easy access to lawyer and a set of simple legal services for a low
cost. Basic services furnished include unlimited toll-free phone access to
your attorney for consultation and advice, letters written by the lawyer on
your behalf, brief office consultation and the drafting or review of simple
legal documents.

Complex legal issues not covered will be subject to an hourly or flat rate
negotiable with your provider

The comprehensive plan goes beyond basic legal services, to offer more
complex and comprehensive coverage for a premium in cost. Generally, all
the benefits of an access plan are provided at no cost to you, plus a
broader range of services like drafting complicated legal documents,
negotiations with adverse parties, legal representation in court cases such
as divorce and child custody. They also cover all the costs involved in a
legal litigation. Comprehensive plans typically start at $300 per year and
are most beneficial to middle-class families.

A group legal plan is typically sponsored by an organization as a fringe
benefit to its members. The lawyer or law firm contracted provides free or
low-cost legal coverage to all members of the sponsoring organization.
Employers, labor unions and even universities are now increasingly
offering group legal plans to enhance the value of their benefits package
and reduce the cost of administrative burden. Law firms are contracted to
provide participating members telephone and office consultation for their
most frequently needed legal matters. These typically include: Preparation
of wills and trusts, document preparation and review, debt and real estate
matters and family law.

Additional legal coverage can be contracted according to a fee schedule
negotiable between the plan sponsor and provider, and publicized to
participating members.

Did you know that for most people having a legal problem is something that they will face at least three times in their lifetimes.

Pre-paid legal plans promote preventive law.

Many people believe they need the services of a lawyer, under a pre-paid
legal service scheme, to solve a legal problem or resolve an intricate
situation. Often, your lawyer’s most valuable help could be before you
get involved in legal trouble.

When you sign up for a pre-paid legal plan, you have the right to unlimited
toll-free telephone access to your attorney.

The sound advice and consultation given to you by your lawyer will help you take the necessary
steps to detect and resolve any potential legal problems before they take more dangerous proportions.
This is called in legal jargon “therapeutic jurisprudence” or “preventive law”.

Just as preventive medicine helps prevent disease by detecting their symptoms, preventive law helps prevent
serious legal consequences by detecting early problems.

In an increasingly litigious society, there is real concern that assets you have worked long
and hard to accumulate may be attacked by creditors and litigants, through no fault of your own.
By the time a potential claim or liability is identified, it is too late to act.

A competent attorney’s advice is your best option to minimize your exposure
to potential risks and protect yourself from legal problems getting out of

This year alone more than 50 thousand estimated tickets for more than 300 dollars will be given out of those most people will just pay it out.

However, more and more people are having to go to court to defend themselves, and their wallets.

You never know what may happen next and as predictable as the legal system is you really need to have a good relationship with a legal professional.

In the days where spilled coffee can result in a million dollar settlement, net, you have to be aware that the risk of loss is serious, more so when you consider, that there are literally millions of under insured small business companies out there.

You are likely to need legal help at least once over a period of years, yet most of us do
not actively seek legal help at all.

Data from a survey, conducted by Leo J. Shapiro & Associates, on behalf of the American Bar
Association’s Section of Litigation, which shows that close to three
quarters of American adults experience some event during a twelve-month
period that may require the services of a lawyer.

Over half of those who needed an attorney chose not to hire one, and close to 80% of those yet to
experience legal problems gave strong indications they might go down the
same route.

Why all the doom and gloom? Price is the most sticking point
for most consumers. When it comes to hiring a lawyer, hourly fees of $100
up to $1000 are out of reach of most people’s budget. And then comes the
trepidation of searching for a good attorney and the right service: there
is a lot of uncertainty and confusion as what a lawyer will do, and how to
tell the good from the bad.

A legal plan may solve these problems and change the way you think of legal
services. Thanks to this arrangement, you can now talk to a lawyer whenever
you have a problem, without fear this will leave you out of pocket. In
fact, you don’t even need to be embroiled in a legal problem to get legal
advice: just pick up the phone, call your attorney and get the necessary
legal advice susceptible of resolving any potential problems –with
professional legal advice and follow-up, you can prevent ninety percent of
your legal questions becoming legal problems. Basic services such as the
drafting of your will, review of sample health contracts and writing
letters on your behalf are handled at no cost to you. If you want further
coverage to include family problems, such as a divorce or custody of
children, and any legal representation in court, then you simply pay a
premium and get more inclusive coverage.

Even if your plan doesn’t cover complex legal matters, it can still save
you money on those sky-high attorney fees. Discounts of up to 20% are
offered on hourly and flat rates. Ultimately, it’s not all down to how much
you can save. Having an attorney readily available at all times gives you
peace of mind, in the knowledge that there is someone you can use on
retainer for advice and help on anything of legal nature.
